In recent years, research results have shown that food contact materials and products may affect their odor, taste and color during contact with food, and are more likely to release a certain amount of toxic chemical components such as heavy metals and toxic additives. Migrating into food and being ingested by the human body will endanger human health. This has become a new concern for people's food safety. Different countries and regions have different classifications of food contact materials and their safety supervision and control indicators. According to the requirements of national laws and regulations, combined with years of testing experience, the quality and safety of food contact materials are tested and evaluated.
According to the internationally accepted classification method, the materials and appliances that come into contact with food can be divided into plastic products, rubber products, glass products, metal products, ceramics, paper products and wood products.

 

Test classification


1. Materials in contact with liquid food
Plastics, coatings, paper, metal surfaces: conduct a comprehensive migration test
Some plastic types: special test
Lid and closure: Perform a full migration test
Metallic materials used for cooking: Perform composition analysis
Individual materials (such as paint and paint): total lead content test
2. Materials that are not in direct contact with food
Unless special requirements, generally do not need to test
3. Materials in contact with dry food
Metallic materials used for cooking: component analysis
Individual materials (such as paint and paint): total lead content test
