REACH SVHC officially updated to 209 items

On June 25, 2020, the European Chemicals Agency ECHA officially released the 23rd batch of substances of very high concern (SVHC), adding 4 substances to the list of substances of very high concern (SVHC list). These four new substances have reproductive toxicity and endocrine disrupting properties. Up to now, the SVHC list has been updated to 209 items.

As the Member State Committee did not reach agreement on the proposal to identify resorcinol (EC 203-585-2; CAS 108-46-3) as SVHC, resorcinol will not be included in the list of SVHC candidate substances this time , The European Commission will continue to further confirm this substance in the follow-up.
